Effective July 1, 2022

We have returned to in-person classes for all students

LAPC has received approval for institutional distance education and hybrid delivery of instruction by our institutional accreditation agency. Students enrolled in an online course may continue to take the course online. Students enrolled in a traditional course must attend classes on campus.

English as a Second Language (ESL) is traditional classroom only. There is no online component.

Notice to International Students:

In compliance with 8 CFR 214.2(f)(6)(i)(G), you must be enrolled for no less than 12 semester units per session to be considered fulltime. You may not be enrolled in more than a single online course per session to count toward your full course of study requirement.

Precautionary Procedures for In-Person Visits

For the safety of the staff and students, we are only accepting visitors with appointments. We are limiting foot traffic inside the office and advise all students to communicate any questions or concerns via e-mail or phone when it is possible.

Please check your health status on the CDC self-checker before arriving.

If you have an appointment with us, please follow these guidelines and procedures:

  • Properly wear a mask before you come into the building
  • A temperature check will be taken before you enter the office
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided before you enter the office
  • Limit your visitation time and primarily focus on the purpose of your appointment
  • We advise students to bring their own pen to sign documents to limit external contact
  • Only individual students with appointments are permitted into the office

When you arrive, please wait outside and call us.

Steps we are taking to prevent the spread:

  • Enhanced cleaning procedures between student appointments
  • PCO air filters installed throughout the office
  • Staff are required to wear face mask coverings
  • Temperature checks
  • Hand sanitizer provided
